This exhibition collects documentation of and information about three projects that MMAP commissioned to be realized in the Mid-Market neighborhood of San Francisco in April and May, 2012. Each project will be located on Market Street, between 5th and 8th, occupying different areas of 'idle' spaces, including the interior of a building, a boarded up exterior, and the sidewalk in front of a vacant storefront. In addition to the display of these artist's works, MMAP will present urban revitalization information and a history of Mid-Market as well as preview our upcoming publication.
Featured artists: Linda Trunzo, NODE (Network of Daily Experience), and Warmbaby.
Opening Reception: April 17 from 5:30pm-8:00pm.
There will be curator and artist-led walkthroughs of the exhibition at 5:30pm and 7pm.
